Description
English: This small steel knife has a short blade and a long, six-sided handle. It is part of a Turkish hunting set. Both ends of the handle are set with emeralds and rubies. The top of the blade is inlaid with gold on both sides. This knife and a silver-gilt penholder (Walters 51.87) belong to Walters 51.78, a pen box, which in turn fits into the butt of a gun (Walters 51.84). The mark of the smith is on the blade.
