- A digraph of hangul, the Korean alphabet.
Usage notes[edit]
- In North Korea, the digraph is called 된디읃 (doendieut, “strong ㄷ (d)”). In South Korea, it is called 쌍디귿 (雙—, ssangdigeut, “doubled ㄷ (d)”).
- In Dongguk Jeong'un (東國正韻), this letter was used to transcribe voiced alveolar plosive ([d]) of Middle Chinese.
