مصرى: دخل الحنطور مصر على يد الإيطاليين في القرن التاسع عشر وتعلم منهم المصريين صناعته و كان من اهم وسائل النقل خاصة للطبقة الراقية. ولايزال الحنطور موجود في شوارع بعض المدن المصرية و لكن بغرض السياحة اكثر، فالسياح و أيضا المصريين يحبون ركوب الحنطور للنزهة

English: The hantour [carriage] entered Egypt via the Italians in the nineteenth century, and the Egyptians learned from them how to manufacture it, and it was one of the most important means of transportation, especially for the upper class. The hantour is still present in the streets of some Egyptian cities, but for touristic purposes, tourists and also Egyptians like to have a ride with the hantour for a walk.
