Bulgarian[edit]

Etymology[edit]

From Proto-Slavic *dělьba. Morphologically equivalent to дял (djal, share) +‎ -ба (-ba). Doublet of делба́ (delbá), a dialectal variant spread from Western dialects, which is more frequently attested.
