- 1918, Folk song, “Там, за небокраєм [There, beyond the horizon]”[1]:

- Ternopilʹ my vzjaly, Lʹviv my obložyly, / A pid Peremyšlem holovy zložyly.
- We have taken Ternopil, laid siege to Lviv, / But near Przemyśl we have been killed in battle.
