Yakut[edit]

Etymology[edit]

From хой (qoy, ram) + бас (bas, head), thus "ram's head". This is doubtless due to the popular image of sheep as being none too bright.

Noun[edit]

хой баһа (qoy baha)

  1. rubbish, nonsense
