הֵדִיחַ • (hediáḥ) third-singular masculine past (hif'il construction)

1. to rinse
   • Tanach, 2 Chronicles 4:6, with translation of the English Standard Version:

     אֶת־מַעֲשֵׂה הָעוֹלָה יָדִיחוּ בָם, וְהַיָּם לְרָחְצָה לַכֹּהֲנִים בּוֹ.

     et-ma'asé ha'olá yadiḥú vam, vəhayyám ləraḥtzá lakkohaním bo.

     In these they were to rinse off what was used for the burnt offering, and the sea was for the priests to wash in.
