- to go out, to depart, to leave
- Tanach, Genesis 8:18, with translation of the New International Version:
- וֻנפַק נֹחַ וֻבנוֹהִי וְאִיתְתֵיה וֻנשֵי בְנוֹהִי עִימֵיה׃
- So Noah came out, together with his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives
- to eject
