- 609–632 CE, Qur'an, 7:200:
- وَإِمَّا يَنْزَغَنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ نَزْغٌ فَٱسْتَعِذْ بِٱللّٰهِۚ إِنَّهُۥ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ
- waʔimmā yanzaḡannaka mina š-šayṭāni nazḡun fastaʕiḏ bi-llāhi ʔinnahū samīʕun ʕalīmun
- If you are tempted by Satan, then seek refuge with Allah. Surely He is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
