Etymology[edit]
From چنگل (çengel, “hook”) + ـلنمك (-lenmek, suffix forming passive infinitives from stems ending in front vowels).
Verb[edit]
چنگللنمك • (çengellenmek)
- to be hooked, to be attached or hung with a hook
- to be executed with an iron hook passed through the body
