ጸባሕት • (ṣäbaḥt) m or f (plural ጸበሓት or ጸብሓት)
- tax, tribute
- Deuteronomy 2:10
- ወለእመ ፡ አውሥኡክሙ ፡ በሰላም ፡ ወአርኀውከ ፡ ይኩኑከ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ እለ ፡ ተረክቡ ፡ ውስቴታ ፡ እለ ፡ ያገብኡ ፡ ለከ ፡ ጸባሕተ ፡ ወምኵናኒከኒ ፡ ይኩኑከ ።
- wäläʾmä ʾäwśəʾukmu bäsälam wäʾärḫäwkä yəkunukä kʷəlu ḥəzb ʾəlä täräkbu wəsteta ʾəlä yagäbʾu läkä ṣäbaḥtä wämkʷənanikäni yəkunukä .
- And it shall be that if they accept your offer of peace, and open to you, then all the people who are found in it shall be placed under tribute to you, and serve you.
