ጽላተ (ṣəlatäm or f (plural ጽላት (ṣəlat))

  1. baldness
  2. that on which something is written, tablet, stele, slab
    • Exodus 32:16
      ወጽላቶን ፡ ግብረተ ፡ እግዚእ ፡ እማንቱ ፡ ወጽሕፈቶንሂ ፡ ጽሕፈተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ግሉፍ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ጽሌሁ ።
      wäṣlaton gəbrätä ʾəgziʾ ʾəmantu wäṣḥəfätonhi ṣəḥfätä ʾəgziʾäbḥer wəʾtu gəluf wəstä ṣəlehu .
      The tablets were the work of God; the writing was the writing of God, engraved on the tablets.
