Compound of 呼び (yobi, calling, the 連用形 (ren'yōkei, continuative or stem form) of verb 呼ぶ (yobu, to call)) +‎ 出し (dashi, out, the 連用形 (ren'yōkei, continuative or stem form) of verb 出す (dasu, to let or bring out)). Literally, calling [something] out.
