Literally: “Red Indians lining up to go to the washroom—(people decorated with)feathers waiting for their turn to use the washroom”. |
Etymology[edit]
In stereotypes, American aboriginal people usually wear headpieces with feathers. Thus Red Indians lining up to go to the washroom is 羽毛輪廁/羽毛轮厕 (jyu5 mou4 leon4 ci3, “(people decorated with) feathers waiting for their turn to use the washroom”), which is a homophonic pun of 語無倫次/语无伦次 (jyu5 mou4 leon4 ci3).
