Inherited from Late Latin -izat. Doublet of -edzu. Compare Romanian -ează.

Suffix[edit]

-eadzã

  1. used with a stem to form the third-person singular present and third-person plural present indicatives of some first conjugation verbs. E.g. lucreadzã from lucredz, bãneadzã from bãnedz, mbuneadzã from mbunedz, etc.
