Usage notes

Since 1953 of the present meaning. Before that it referred to November 1 ("Halloween"), but in 1953 the public holiday was moved (in Sweden) to the aforementioned weekend. Instead the name "allhelgonadagen" started to be used about November 1, that is, the previous public holiday.
