This is possibly too encyclopedic, being a transwiki from Wikipedia. It's unclear what to put in an appendix like this. What do you compare spelling to? Other languages, Old/Middle French and Latin? What? Mglovesfun (talk) 18:24, 4 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

I think it's intended to record common historical spelling variations. It should probably be at something like Appendix:Historical French spelling (or "spellings"?) and be built along lines more similar to Appendix:French spelling reforms of 1990. Circeus 19:12, 4 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
