  • This two-handed ASL sign is produced as follows:
    1. Posture the nondominant hand in the “B” handshape in neutral space abutting the center line of the body, with palm facing down and the tips of the fingers facing away from the signer. Posture the dominant hand in the “B” handshape in neutral space abutting the center line of the body and hence the opposite hand, with palm facing down and the tips of the fingers facing away from the signer.
    2. Hold both hands still briefly.
    3. Move both hands smoothly away from one another until they are approximately as far as apart as the signer's shoulders.
    4. Hold both hands still briefly.
