Etymology[edit]
Named after a railway junction which still exists; the station here is now named Battersby, although through trains have to reverse direction here.

- A hamlet in Ingleby Greenhow parish, near Battersby, Hambleton district, North Yorkshire, England (OS grid ref NZ5807).
