Borrowed from Hungarian Bázna, from Old Church Slavonic бъзьна (bŭzĭna), feminine of бъзьнъ (bŭzĭnŭ) from бъзъ (bŭzŭ, elderberry) +‎ -ьнъ (-ĭnŭ).
