1. A crown of Ancient Egypt, thought to have been worn in battle or used as a Ramesside substitute for the White Crown, among other functions.
   • 1979, Beatrice L. Goff, Symbols of Ancient Egypt in the Late Period: The Twenty-first Dynasty, page 202:

     I have not found the Blue Crown on the head of any figure in the Twenty-first Dynasty, though I cannot account for its absence.

     The Blue Crown (ḫprš), thought to be a war crown, first makes its appearance early in Dynasty XVIII (B).
