Furthermore, there are no silly solutions like Goofy rides piggy back on Donald or that Mickey carries Pluto. The flashlight must be carried across the drawbridge each way. All four must make it across the drawbridge into Fantasyland.
  • 1999 March 29, Derek Kowaluk <kowaluk@NOSPAMtelusplanet.net>, “Re: Episode I - Jar Jar”, in alt.fan.starwars, rec.arts.movies.current-films, rec.arts.sf.movies, rec.arts.sf.starwars.misc[3] (Usenet), message-ID <36FF31F6.51EE0E89@NOSPAMtelusplanet.net>:
I think that Jar Jar will be a little like Goofy in the Mickey and Donald gang or Kramer in the Seinfeld gang, likable guy but weird as hell. The only thing that would make him annoying would be if he talked too much. (We have C3P0 for that)
  • 2001 April 24, Mike Wilcox <appraisers@sympatico.ca>, “Re: Walt Disney HelpMates Child's Tea Set”, in rec.antiques[4] (Usenet), message-ID <3ADE7B84.C4854F45@sympatico.ca>:
No, much later, circa 1954 I believe. Clarabelle was feeling a bit "long in the tooth" and a dashing sweet talker like Goofy was said to have made her feel like a "Spring heifer" again ;~))

    Well Goofy is a Dog.
He has the Head of the Dog and Body of a human being.
That looked like an anthropomorphic dog.

I believe this is our problem today. We are like Goofy, looking in all the wrong places because the light is better, (the facts seem to fit). If we go back to the place of the strict definition which Christ gave us and apply only that, exactly as He gave it, I believe it will point us in a different direction and we will not be deceived.
  • 2002 October 23, Niklas Östman <niklas.ostman@kolumbus.fi>, “Hutch looks like Goofy....”, in alt.sports.football.pro.dallas-cowboys[8] (Usenet), message-ID <ap71b2$65l$1@phys-news1.kolumbus.fi>:
Hutch never constantly outplayed QC during the camp, even though he got plenty of opportunity. He's even more rusty and erratic than QC. I'm not defending QC, just saying that Hutch is likely to suck even more. Hutch is tall and lanky. Looks like Goofy.
