Doppelkopf n or m (strong, genitive Doppelkopfes or Doppelkopfs or Doppelkopf, no plural)

(card games) A trick-taking game for four players, popular chiefly in the northern half of Germany, consisting of several rounds in which the players are assigned (based on the cards they are dealt) to two initially unrevealed sides of two, most often played with two decks from 9 to ace (48 cards).
