Etymology[edit]
Eden + -ize. The nursing sense comes from the Eden Alternative proposed by William H. Thomas (physician).

Edenize (third-person singular simple present Edenizes, present participle Edenizing, simple past and past participle Edenized)
- (transitive) To bring to a state of paradisaic happiness.
