This is possibly derived from the name of a former district: see Heap, Bury.

- A small suburb of Heywood, Metropolitan Borough of Rochdale, Greater Manchester, England (OS grid ref SD8210).
Usage notes[edit]
The Heap Bridge Interchange, where the A58 road crosses the M66 motorway, is across the borough boundary in the Metropolitan Borough of Bury.
