Pronunciation[edit]

Proper noun[edit]

Kinlochewe

  1. A small village in Wester Ross, Highland council area, Scotland (OS grid ref NH0262).

Usage notes[edit]

Despite the village's name, it is not on Loch Ewe, a sea loch, but at the head of Loch Maree, a freshwater loch. Loch Maree empties into the short River Ewe, which discharges into Loch Ewe, quite a distance north-west of Kinlochewe.
