From Old English Lundene bryċġ (literally “London's Bridge” or “the Bridge of London”).

London Bridge

1. A bridge across the River Thames between the City of London and Southwark. The first bridge was probably built in Roman times.
2. An important railway station in Southwark, near the bridge, with both terminal and through platforms, also served by the Northern and Jubilee underground lines
3. The area of London, in the borough of Southwark immediately surrounding the station (OS grid ref TQ3280).
