Is *fuïniz etc. really a good notation to use here? Germanic languages usually use umlauts rather than diareses, so this might seem to suggest something like [ɸuɨniz] to readers, rather than the intended [ɸu.iniz]. (I certainly did a double take upon seeing this form mentioned in an entry.) I would suggest using IPA-compatible notation: *fu.iniz etc. --Tropylium (talk) 11:49, 1 November 2016 (UTC)
