Could Proto-Germanic kefalaz be related to Greek κεφαλή?Redav (talk) 23:58, 5 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Not according to w:Grimm's Law- the consonants are all wrong. The only way to get around that would be borrowing after the sound shift had run its course, in which case I would question whether one should use the term "related", at least in the linguistics sense.Chuck Entz (talk) 03:21, 6 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
