The odds of PIE *l > PII *l are astronomically higher than PII *r > Sanskrit l. Even Lubotsky doesn't reconstruct *r. *čálHati ~ *čr̥Hánt is the tried and true method for dealing with such vacillations. -- Skiulinamo (talk) 03:38, 20 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
