Is *baiu̯an- really an alt. form, or just a variant stem (r/n heteroclite) ? --Ivan Štambuk (talk) 23:44, 26 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

It is probably a variant stem, I haven't learned how to read ESIJa well yet. Regarding the stems, can you help me and Z by looking at AiW column 913 to sort out the Avestan forms baēvarə, baēvar-, baēvan-? Which is the nominative, which should be used as the lemma? --Vahag (talk) 13:50, 27 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
baēvarə (or baēvarə̄ in Old Avestan orthography) - nominative singular of r/n heteroclitic nouns is always on -r. --Ivan Štambuk (talk) 14:31, 27 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
