@CodeCat Derksen reconstructs Balto-Slavic *glenˀd- with an acute. Although he doesn't exactly say it, he seems to be assuming that Winter's law applies across *n and produces the acute. I think Kortlandt, meanwhile, doesn't allow Winter's law across *n, so who knows. (Kortlandt wrote an article trying to rebut various people's claims that Winter's law doesn't exist, and asserted that the supposed counterexamples are blocked by intervening *n or *s.)
