Rhymes:Icelandic/ɪiːjɪr

Note: For many speakers, [ɪiː] is merged with [iː], so for them these words will also rhyme with words ending in -iːjɪr. Others maintain the separation. In southeast Iceland, the distinction is maintained, but these words are pronounced with another monophthong, [ɪː], instead of the diphthong [ɪiː], e.g. [ˈflɪːjɪr] for the word flygir.
