Rhymes talk:English/əʊz

This pronunciation looks like "oz" - in fact it looks a lot like it. Whereas all the words rhyme with "doze" and not with "oz". I really don't recommend using the WAE pronunciation if that's what you're doing. Any of -@Uz -oUz -əʊz -oʊz would be highly preferable. — Hippietrail 08:13, 5 May 2004 (UTC)

Go ahead and move it to whatever is more correct. The only system I'm using is what's at Wiktionary:Pronunciation key, which claims the o in boat and nose is represented by an o in both IPA and SAMPA. That sounds the same as the o in doze and close to me, but I could be wrong. TUF-KAT 08:19, 5 May 2004 (UTC)
