Borrowed from Arabic شِطُوبَر (šiṭūbar), from Latin Caetobriga,[1] composed by a pre-Roman substrate of Iberia element and Proto-Celtic *brigā (“hill, fortress”).[2] Doublet of Cetóbriga.
