Etymology[edit]

From Ottoman Turkish سيقريق (sıkrık).[1]

May be related to Kipchak [script needed] (sıkrık, “whistle, whistling”). There is no any other option to compare it. Whistle village is also possible village name but not obvious.

Proper noun[edit]
