Saterland Frisian[edit]

Etymology[edit]

Uncertain. Perhaps from Old Frisian *taske, from Proto-West Germanic *taskā, from Proto-Germanic *taskǭ. Alternatively, perhaps a borrowing of Middle Low German tasche, from the same ultimate source.
