According to Beekes (2011) intro. to the topic, the PIE form had h1, not h2. As I imagine it is of some debate, and I don't know enough of either the posting rules for reconstructions or the topic, I figured I'd point out a source in case anyone comes looking and thinks "that seems odd", which is actually why I got Beekes' book in the first place.
