@幻光尘: Hello. Where did you get this pronunciation /vou⁴⁴ lou²⁴ sz̩⁴⁴/?! I estimate it should be /vou²⁴ rou⁴⁴ sz̩⁰/ (respelled as "ву1rу3сы0"). @Justinrleung: Thanks, it makes sense that the Cyrillic "р", if it is in the initial position, is normally pronounced as /l/ by the Dungans but it may also be /r/, since they are exposed to Russian, Kyrgyz, etc. languages. Vowels may be added to the end, e.g. с->сы, so the phonetic respellings would be "вулусы" or "вурусы".

We only have these tones defined in Module:dng-pron: ["1"] = "²⁴", ["2"] = "⁵¹", ["3"] = "⁴⁴", ["0"] = "⁰", no "¹²" and no tone sandhi. --Anatoli T. ^{(обсудить}/^вклад) 05:45, 26 February 2020 (UTC)

@Justinrleung: I know, thanks. Pehaps a simpler thing is to allow phonetic respellings, we know for sure, e.g. "Вурус" is not pronounced as it is spelled. Just adding to the to-do list, LOL, can't do anything myself. --Anatoli T. ^{(обсудить}/^вклад) 05:57, 26 February 2020 (UTC)
