German word[edit]

@Chernorizets Hi, I would like to apologize for getting the etymology a little wrong on this entry. In my defence, the capitalized form was what was listed verbatim at BER, so I thought this might be some archaic or obsolete & forgotten German noun that originally entered Bulgarian. (Cf. абрихт (abriht), which has a similar German colloquialism Abrichte.) Indeed, you can't find any use of this noun form on the Internet, at least by my searches, so I guess it's likely not what I thought. Thanks and sorry again, Kiril kovachev (talkcontribs) 01:23, 7 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Kiril kovachev no apologies needed! RBE gives the etymon as Absurd, so it's totally reasonable to reflect that in the entry. If anything, I made a judgment call. I'll double-check again. Chernorizets (talk) 01:28, 7 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
