For specifically הלכנו, it's more likely from пошли (pošli). But also the whole feature in general of using the past tense in this way was probably borrowed from Russian. And to complicate things a bit, there is precedent in Mishnaic Hebrew. There are many features like this in Modern Hebrew that would seem to be almost certainly borrowed from Yiddish or Slavic or something, but actually have precedent in Mishnaic Hebrew.
