Why does this entry for the Russian verb 'собирать' meaning 'to gather, collect, etc.' feature an image of a fly? Is it because the fly is "gathering" nectar from a flower? It seems like a little bit of a stretch! Or is it a joke? Pasquale (talk) 15:40, 5 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Yes. I edited the image to make it clearer that the fly is "gathering" nectar from the blossom. I don't know what you mean by stretch, and it's not a joke. Do you mean that you feel this verb is not the correct choice for the action shown in the image? See this Google search for собирает нектар (gathers/collects nectar). —Stephen (Talk) 06:26, 6 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
Also see ru:собирать on the Russian Wiktionary, which uses the same image. —Stephen (Talk) 06:40, 6 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
