@Vahagn Petrosyan: Hello. Based on these two discussions (see this comment especially), I'm going to empty Category:Transliterations of Russian terms (and other similar categories) and replace it with Category:Unadapted borrowings from Russian (with {{ubor}}). @Per utramque cavernam: I don't think "unadapted borrowing" is the best way to describe what is going on with words like Փխենյան (Pʻxenyan) and մահջոնգ (mahǰong). They are a result of misunderstanding of "morpho-syntactic, phonological and/or phonotactical rules" of the source language, not the target language. "Transliteration" too is probably not the best description. I don't know how these phenomena are called. The situation with մահջոնգ (mahǰong) is similar to what is discussed in Spelling_pronunciation#In_other_languages. --Vahag (talk) 11:12, 27 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
