I've thought about that, but my source (Ačaṙyan) is confident those were borrowed from Armenian. There are other ways to determine who borrowed form whom. For example, Armenian պոչ (počʻ) is attested in the 6th century, which means Turkish is certainly a borrowing. Kurdish too is certainly from Armenian because of initial b-, which points to Western Armenian pronunciation. Georgian must be a borrowing too, as it is scarcely used in Georgian, while պոչ (počʻ) is the usual word for “tail” in Armenian. Besides, newer sources propose a PIE origin for this. @Vahagn Petrosyan: The most similar words are not shown: Yiddish פּאָץ (pots), known from Russian as well as English because of the sound, Romanian puță. (The “Old Latin” pūtos (“penis”) following Wiktionary:Requests for verification/Non-English#Latin puta "girl", Talk:puta, seems imaginary however, as Indo-Europeanists always seek out old hapax legomena regardless of context, @Brutal Russian.) The more one finds, the more likely it appears that each such word is an expressive formation, for either pee-pee or tail, as terms with bilabial plosive and following plosive are often arbitrary for various kinds of Pinöckel, even the nates (German Popo) and other combinations – the motivation of Stück (“membrum virile”) and Turkish چوك / çük seems to be alike. People intentionally form and deform new words to be similar to known older words as well to be expressive, therefore such PIE derivations fail. Fay Freak (talk) 17:21, 5 March 2021 (UTC)

@Fay Freak: the basic meaning is "tail", not "penis". I am not convinced the tail words are usually ideophonic. PS.
