חשבון - מתמטיקה as a school subject[edit]
Generally when talking about mathematics as a subject of academic study, the word חשבון is only used for the subject in elementary school, while מתמטיקה is used for all other academic levels. I think this is a distinction worth being mentioned, but I am not sure how to phrase it appropriately. 133.12.30.73 03:34, 28 September 2023 (UTC)
