I found the word in Ukrainian (са́жалка (sážalka, fish pond)) and Belarusian (са́жалка (sážalka, pond, fish pond)). Can you verify whether the Yiddish word implies an artificial pond, specifically a fish pond, or whether it's more general? --WikiTiki89 20:57, 12 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
Well, it does seem to include fish ponds, but also larger lakes. I don't think it has a clear semantic zone, as far as I can tell. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 23:37, 12 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
