Yiddish dialectal pronoun[edit]

@Metaknowledge: I thought עץ (ets) = איר (ir) and ענק (enk) = אײַך (aykh) and ענקער (enker) = אײַער (ayer) (see here for some fascinating insights into the conjugation system that goes with it). Also, we need to use consistent terminology. Mideastern Yiddish = Central Yiddish = Po(y)lish Yiddish. I think we've been mostly using "Poylish", since it is the common name (rather than linguistic name), even thought it is not necessarily a geographically "accurate" term. --WikiTiki89 20:08, 14 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
