Why is έξοδος masculine, if οδός is feminine? PierreAbbat 23:27, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
For the answer to that, you'd have to ask the Greeks. Actually, the better question probably is why is οδός feminine? It declines in a masculine manner. Ultimately, I am not aware of an answer to either question. Atelaes 08:20, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
A lot of second-declension omikron nouns decline femininely. Go figure. In Modern Greek, έξοδος is feminine, but I wouldn't necessarily consider that authoritative for Ancient Greek because of the myriad differences with Modern Greek. - Gilgamesh 08:50, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

- Wow, I can't believe this mistake has remained for so long, especially after it was pointed out as such. ἔξοδος is, in fact, feminine. It has been fixed. Atelaes 05:28, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
