Weird Vocative Singular Form[edit]

Mastronarde lists the vocative singular as identical to the nominative singular. This is not the case in the inflection table, which declines it regularly. The LSJ is silent on the voc. sing., and I think it's simply unattested as a vocative, which would make sense. What is appropriate in cases such as these?
