パス

The current definition, “a pass (in a game of cards)”, is ambiguous. I don't know whether this refers to the declaration used to decline one's turn (e.g. in bridge), the action of giving cards to one's partner (e.g. in pinochle), or maybe something else. If it is either of the first two cases I mentioned, I would imagine that there is a corresponding verb sense of パスする. Are there any Japanese-speaking card players who could weigh in?

While I'm at it, I added “intentional walk” to the two baseball senses – one noun and one verb. If that is incorrect, maybe someone could fix it. Cnilep (talk) 02:33, 9 November 2017 (UTC)

I thought that パス could be a shortening of パスワード as well, but I currently cannot find enough usage that I can confidently add it. —Fish bowl (talk) 00:36, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
